5 x 1 Hour Manual Driving Lessons

Five 60-minute manual lessons, paid for in one go. You book them one at a time, the same way as a single lesson, and the credit comes off as you go.

Five lessons is a sensible start for manual. The clutch takes a few lessons to learn, and buying five together means you are not deciding whether to book again while you are still in the hard part.

What five lessons usually covers

Every learner is different, so this is a guide and not a promise:

• Finding the clutch bite point, moving off and stopping

• Changing up and down through the gears

• Hill starts without rolling back

• Slow driving, car parks and light traffic

By the end of five lessons most learners can drive a manual around quiet streets without thinking about the clutch. Roundabouts, highways and test preparation come after that.

How it works

• You pay once. Nothing to pay on the day of a lesson.

• Book each lesson when it suits you. There is no fixed schedule.

• Each booking takes one lesson off your balance.

• You can see how many lessons you have left in your account.

Log book hours

If you are under 25, each of these five lessons is recorded as three hours in your log book. Five lessons gives you 15 log book hours from five hours of driving.

The three-for-one rule applies to your first ten lessons in total, so there is still room for a second pack or for single lessons afterwards.

Cancelling a lesson

The same rule as a single lesson. Cancel or change a lesson up to 24 hours before it starts and the credit goes back to your balance. Inside 24 hours the lesson is used.
