Manual Test Day Package
Use my manual car for your driving test at Coffs Harbour, with a warm-up lesson beforehand. Two hours in total.
Two hours on the day of your driving test. A lesson first, then the test in the same manual car that you have been learning in so far!
Sitting the test in a manual is the only way to get a licence with no transmission condition on it. Once you pass, you can drive both manual and automatic cars.
How the two hours work
I pick you up before your test time.
We drive the roads around the test centre, work on hill starts and gear changes, and go over the things examiners mark hardest.
We arrive early, and I wait while you sit the test.
After the test I drop you home.
The driving test itself takes about 45 minutes, so the warm-up is around an hour once we allow for getting there and doing the paperwork.
Stalling during the test
Stalling once does not fail you. What matters is what you do next. Handbrake on, clutch down, restart, check your mirrors, move off when it is safe.
We practise exactly this in the warm-up, so if it happens during the test you already know what to do and you do not panic.
What you need to do first
You book the driving test yourself, with Service NSW. You choose the date and time, and you pay their fee when you book. That fee is separate from this package and is not included in the price.
Once you have your test time, book this package for the same day and I will work around it.
Where the test starts
Driving tests in this area run from the Service NSW centre at 32-34 Gordon Street, Coffs Harbour. The test goes out through the streets around the centre, so those are the roads we will drive in the warm-up.
