Automatic Test Day Package

Two hours on the day of your driving test. A lesson first, then the test itself in the same car you have been learning in.

Most learners do not have a car they can use for the test. Even the ones who do are often better off in a dual-control car they already know, on the day that matters.

How the two hours work

• I pick you up before your test time.

• We drive the roads around the test centre and go over the things examiners mark hardest.

• We arrive early, and I wait while you sit the test.

• After the test I drop you home.

The driving test itself takes about 45 minutes, so the warm-up is around an hour once we allow for getting there and doing the paperwork.

What you need to do first

You book the driving test yourself, with Service NSW. You choose the date and time, and you pay their fee when you book. That fee is separate from this package and is not included in the price.

Once you have your test time, book this package for the same day and I will work around it.

Before you choose automatic

If you sit your test in an automatic car, your licence will say automatic vehicles only. You cannot drive a manual on that licence, and removing the condition means sitting another driving test in a manual car later.

If you want a manual licence, book the manual test day package instead, and sit the test in the manual car.

Where the test starts

Driving tests in this area run from the Service NSW centre at 32-34 Gordon Street, Coffs Harbour. The test goes out through the streets around the centre, so those are the roads we will drive in the warm-up.
